Overview

BackBond Agent Scan is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Vet MCP tool manifests before attachment; returns block, review, or no blocking finding. Because it speaks the Model Context Protocol, AI assistants can use BackBond Agent Scan as a set of callable tools instead of you copy-pasting between apps.

It runs locally: the npm package @backbond/agent-scan speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. No credentials are required — it works out of the box. The current release is v0.5.14, published under the MIT license, with source at BackBond/agent-scan on GitHub.
