Azure Boards MCP

Overview

Azure Boards MCP is a Model Context Protocol server that connects Azure DevOps Boards work items to AI assistants over stdio. Instead of switching between tools, AI can call Azure Boards operations directly as part of agent workflows.

The server runs locally via npx -y azure-board-mcp and requires Bun, along with three environment variables: AZURE_ORG, AZURE_PROJECT, and AZURE_PAT for API authentication. Version v1.0.0 is available now, with full source code at broisnischal/azure-mcp on GitHub.
