Overview

Azure is an MCP server that integrates the Azure API into your AI workflow. Through the Model Context Protocol, Claude, Cursor, VS Code, and other AI assistants can call Azure tools directly instead of switching between applications.

The server runs locally via the Python package azure-mcp-server using uvx azure-mcp-server. You'll need to provide your Azure credentials through environment variables: AZURE_SUBSCRIPTION_ID, AZURE_CLIENT_ID, and AZURE_CLIENT_SECRET. The latest release is v0.1.0, and the source code is available at asklokesh/azure-mcp-server on GitHub.
