Overview

Audit is a Model Context Protocol server that scores any public GitHub repository on a scale of 0-100 using the commit.show audit rubric. Once connected to your AI assistant, it exposes scoring functionality as a tool the model can invoke to evaluate code quality and repository standards.

The server runs locally on your machine via the npm package commitshow-mcp, which communicates over stdio with your MCP client. No authentication is required—it works immediately after installation. Version v0.1.2 is available now under the MIT license, with full source code at commitshow/cli on GitHub.
