Overview

Atlassian Attachments is a Model Context Protocol server that lets you download, upload, and delete Jira Cloud attachments by ID. Instead of switching between tools, AI assistants can call these functions directly as part of their workflow.

The server runs locally on your machine using the mcp-atlassian-attachments package, installed via uvx mcp-atlassian-attachments. It communicates over stdio and requires a Jira Cloud API key for authentication. Version v0.3.0 is published under the MIT license with source code at alyiox/mcp-atlassian-attachments on GitHub.
