Overview

Astro is a Model Context Protocol server that brings multi-tradition astrology into your AI workflows. It includes 19 modes and 18 tools powered by a deterministic ephemeris engine, letting you generate birth charts, calculate planetary positions, and explore astrology across different traditions programmatically. By implementing MCP, Astro becomes a set of callable tools your AI assistant can invoke directly rather than requiring manual data transfer between separate applications.

The server runs locally with no authentication required and works immediately after installation. The latest release is v2.4.0, available from aryaminus/astro on GitHub under an open source license.

Astro appears in the AI & Agents category on mcp.site and works with all major MCP clients including Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, and Zed. If you maintain this project, claim the listing to verify ownership and keep information current.
