Argus

Overview

Argus is a Model Context Protocol server that automates web QA testing through Chrome DevTools. It performs accessibility checks, security scanning, visual testing, environment diffing, and CI integration, with Aegis redaction support. Any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call Argus tools directly to run these checks as part of a conversation or agent workflow.

Argus runs locally via the argusqa-os npm package, which communicates with your MCP client over stdio. You'll need to provide TARGET_DEV_URL as an environment variable and an API key for authentication. The latest release is v10.0.0, published under the MIT license with source code available at ironclawdevs27/Argus on GitHub.
