Applemusic Mcp

Overview

Applemusic Mcp is a Model Context Protocol server that brings Apple Music control into your AI assistant. It lets you manage playlists, browse your library and the catalog, control playback, and navigate Up Next—all on Mac, Windows, or Linux. Instead of switching between apps, your Claude or Cursor session can call these tools directly.

The server runs locally via the uvx command uvx applemusic-mcp, speaking MCP over stdio without needing any credentials. It ships as the applemusic-mcp Python package at version v0.20.1 under the MIT license, with full source available at epheterson/applemusic-mcp on GitHub.
