Aperion Shield

Overview

Aperion Shield is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Local guardrail proxy that blocks destructive MCP tool calls, rug pulls, and tool poisoning. In practice that means any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call Aperion Shield's tools directly — the model decides when to use them in a conversation or agent run.

It runs locally: the Docker image ghcr.io/aperionai/shield:shield-v1.0.1 speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. No credentials are required — it works out of the box. The current release is v1.0.1, with source at AperionAI/shield on GitHub.
