Overview

Anytype Mcp is the official Model Context Protocol server for the Anytype API, connecting your encrypted, local and collaborative wiki to AI assistants. Instead of switching between apps and copy-pasting, Claude, Cursor, VS Code and other MCP clients can call Anytype tools directly through this server.

The server runs locally via the npm package @anyproto/anytype-mcp, communicating over stdio. You'll need to set the OPENAPI_MCP_HEADERS environment variable for authentication. Version v1.0.7 is available under the MIT license, with full source code at anyproto/anytype-mcp on GitHub, where the project has accumulated 514 stars.
