Amnesic

Overview

Amnesic is a Model Context Protocol server that adds persistent semantic memory to SQL databases including Postgres, MySQL, MSSQL, and SQLite. It lets AI assistants query and interact with your database as native tools rather than requiring manual data transfer between applications.

The server runs locally on your machine via the Python package amnesic, installed with uvx amnesic. It communicates with MCP clients over stdio and requires no authentication or API keys to get started. The latest release is v0.2.2, distributed under the MIT license with source code available at SurajKGoyal/amnesic on GitHub.
