Overview

Alltrails Mcp is an unofficial Model Context Protocol server that brings AllTrails functionality into Claude and other AI assistants. Search hiking and walking trails, retrieve detailed information, read reviews, browse photos, and access your saved lists—all without leaving your AI workflow. Tools become callable functions that your AI can use directly.

The server runs locally on your machine via the npm package alltrails-mcp, speaking MCP over stdio. Installation is straightforward: npx -y alltrails-mcp. No authentication is required, so it works immediately after setup.
