ALEX Evidence Verify

Overview

ALEX Evidence Verify is a Model Context Protocol server that validates signed ALEX Evidence Packages, with a fail-closed design that treats signature or schema errors as blocking. Any MCP-compatible AI assistant can invoke its verification tools directly during conversation or agent runs, letting the model determine when verification is needed.

The server runs locally on your machine via the Python package alex-evidence-verify-mcp, installed through uvx. It communicates with your MCP client over stdio and requires no authentication to get started. The latest release is v0.1.1, available from https://alexproof.de/mcp.
