Overview

Alces Mcp is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Alces for Jira Data Center — MCP server bridging Jira DC/JSM with AI agents. As an MCP server it plugs straight into AI assistants, exposing its functionality as tools the model can invoke on your behalf.

It runs locally: the npm package alces-mcp speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. Configuration happens through environment variables — you'll need JIRA_URL, JIRA_USER_TOKEN. The current release is v1.0.0.
