Overview

ai·rete·rag is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Author rules from policy docs, then decide: a Rete engine gives the verdict, an LLM explains why. As an MCP server it plugs straight into AI assistants, exposing its functionality as tools the model can invoke on your behalf.

You can run ai·rete·rag two ways: connect to the hosted endpoint at https://ai-rete-rag.com/mcp with no local install, or run it on your own machine via the Python package ai-rete-rag-mcp (via uvx). Configuration happens through environment variables — you'll need AI_RETE_RAG_API_KEY. The current release is v0.7.0, published under the MIT license, with source at zaharajabeen13-create/ai-rete-rag-mcp on GitHub.
