Aileron Journal

Overview

Aileron Journal is a Model Context Protocol server that enables read-only queries over Aileron audit journals, allowing you to verify integrity and search recorded tool calls. Any MCP-compatible AI assistant can invoke Aileron Journal's tools directly during conversations or agent runs, letting the model decide when audit data is needed.

The server runs locally via the Python package aileron, installed with uvx aileron. It communicates with your MCP client over stdio and requires no authentication to operate. Aileron Journal is released as v0.1.5 under the Apache-2.0 license, with source code available at aileron-sh/aileron on GitHub.
