Agentvault

Overview

Agentvault is a credential vault for AI agents built on the Model Context Protocol. It stores API keys and secrets using Fernet encryption, enforces per-agent budgets, and maintains detailed audit logs of all credential access. The server exposes these capabilities as tools that AI assistants can invoke securely on your behalf.

Install it locally via npx -y agentvault-mcp. The server runs over stdio and requires two environment variables to operate: AGENTVAULT_API_URL and AGENTVAULT_AGENT_KEY for authentication. Version v0.1.0 is available now under the MIT license, with full source code at bch1212/agentvault on GitHub.
