Agent Magnet

Overview

Agent Magnet is a Model Context Protocol server that provides a behavioral memory layer for AI tools. It learns preferences and context across Claude, Cursor, Codex, and other compatible assistants, allowing them to retain and apply what they learn about how you work across different sessions and tools.

The server runs locally via the uvx agent-magnet command, communicating with your AI tools over stdio. You'll need to set the MAGNET_USER_ID environment variable to get started. Agent Magnet is published under the MIT license with source code available at helinakdogan/magnet-gateway on GitHub, currently at version v0.1.11.
