Overview

A2CR is an MCP server that lets you save AI-agent handoff checkpoints, WorkStash notes, and WorkThreads in a local workspace. By using the Model Context Protocol, AI assistants can call A2CR as a set of tools instead of requiring manual copy-paste between applications.

The server runs locally via the Python package a2cr-mcp, installed with uvx a2cr-mcp. It communicates over stdio on your machine and requires no credentials to get started. The latest release is v0.1.8, distributed under the Apache-2.0 license with source code available at a2cr/a2cr on GitHub.
