Overview

1Password is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: MCP server for 1Password service accounts — tools and resources for vaults and credentials. As an MCP server it plugs straight into AI assistants, exposing its functionality as tools the model can invoke on your behalf.

It runs locally: the npm package @takescake/1password-mcp speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. The current release is v2.5.0, published under the Apache-2.0 license, with source at CakeRepository/1Password-MCP on GitHub, where it has earned 20 stars.
