About Cloud Service MCP servers
Cloud servers give agents a typed interface to infrastructure and platform APIs: listing and provisioning resources, reading logs and metrics, deploying applications, managing DNS, storage and queues, and querying billing. Many are published by the vendors themselves and track their APIs closely; others focus on a single job such as deployments, incident response or cost analysis.
Treat these like any automation that holds cloud credentials. Use a dedicated identity with least-privilege permissions, prefer servers that support read-only or dry-run modes, and keep production changes behind a confirmation step in your agent. Hosted, OAuth-based servers avoid long-lived keys on your machine; local servers suit air-gapped or regulated environments.
