About Communication MCP servers
Communication servers put an agent inside the channels your team already uses. They expose tools to search message history, post to channels or threads, send and draft email, manage contacts and react to incoming messages, covering Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, Gmail and IMAP mailboxes, Twilio-style SMS and voice, and chat platforms such as Telegram and WhatsApp.
Sending on someone's behalf is a high-trust action, so look for servers that separate read tools from write tools, support draft-before-send flows and scope access to specific channels or mailboxes. OAuth-based servers are easier to revoke than shared bot tokens. For inbound automation, pair a communication server with a workflow or webhook server.
